Key Stage 3

At key stage 3, we provide the following IGCSE subjects:

English

The English curriculum at Oxford Manor College for Key Stage 3 students (Year 7 to 9) is based on the Cambridge Secondary 1 curriculum.

English Literature

We offers learners the opportunity to read, interpret, evaluate, and respond to a range of literature Cambridge IGCSE Literature in English.

Mathematics

We aims to help students to see Maths as a set of tools for solving real-life problems and to develop the ability to select the most appropriate tool to use.

French

At Oxford Manor College, we raise our scholars to be indomitable; therefore, we consider proficiency in French to be essential.

Biology

Scholars are provided with tests and examinations regularly to monitor and track their progress. At the end of the program of study, scholars sit for the Cambridge IGCSE and WAEC examinations.

Chemistry

The IGCSE Chemistry Course follows the Cambridge Curriculum. The course covers a wide range of topics, including the Nature of Matter, Atoms, Elements and Compounds, Electricity and Chemistry, Chemical Reactions, the Periodic Table, and Organic Chemistry.

Physics

The IGCSE Physics Course follows the Cambridge Curriculum and utilises a highly successful textbook.

Art and Design

Computer Science

High-quality music education should engage and inspire scholars to develop a love of music and their talent as musicians, and so increase their self-confidence, creativity, and sense of achievement

Our scholars are prepared and trained based on these two tiers. The theory and practical carries 50% each of their total assessment at the end of the year.

IGCSE History at Oxford Manor College blends both skills and knowledge-based learning into a more comprehensive learning approach while following the History IGCSE Curriculum.

Geography

Geography is a diverse discipline that bridges the arts and social and natural sciences, providing a broad education that addresses pressing issues, including environmental change, regional and global inequalities, and the transformation of global economy and culture.

Computer Science

offers two tiers for study, one for theoretical section and the other practical section of the ICT Curriculum leading to A* to C grade for examination at the end of Year 11
